Emmanuel Macron and Élisabeth Borne set the course for future reforms

During a government seminar, the executive couple reaffirmed the reform ambitions of the five-year term. The opportunity to call certain ministers to order.


Sequence the agenda of reforms, affirm the political course of this beginning of the five-year term and put back in place the most dissipated ministers… Gathered on Wednesday in a government seminar at the Élysée, the ministers tuned their violins with those of the Head of State and the Prime Minister.

The purpose of the seminar was

“to frame the government's action (…) for emergency projects but also for the in-depth transformations that we must undertake”

, explained Élisabeth Borne at the end of the day.

The Prime Minister has

“set roadmaps”

for ministers

“which will be made public”

A list of 60

“priority government policies”

with

“specific and targeted objectives”

will also be

“accessible to all”

.

The first texts examined in Parliament this fall will relate to unemployment insurance, the development of renewable energies and the planning law of the Ministry of the Interior.

Debates will be organized in the National Assembly on Ukraine…
