The Chilean Congress released a video showing the attack by deputy Gonzalo de la Carrera on Alexis Sepúlveda, vice president of the Chamber of Deputies.
The legislator apologized although he assures that he was the one attacked first.
In the images, recorded without audio, it is not clear if he was beaten before, but the moment in which De La Carrera throws a kick and a punch is seen.
The Republican Party kicked him out of his seat.
