A robbery happened in Sheung Shui.
At about 1 am, a man drove his private car to the public toilet in Shek Wu New Village, parked the car outside the toilet door, and went inside to relieve himself.
During the period, the man was suddenly attacked from behind and fainted on the spot.
A villager later found the man lying down next to the toilet bowl, and was shocked to report to the police.
Paramedics arrived at the scene to give first aid to the injured person. He suffered a head injury and was bleeding. Fortunately, he regained consciousness and was sent to the North District Hospital for treatment.
It is understood that the man was in his 20s and was in charge of a pork stall. He just stopped work when the incident happened, and put about 100,000 yuan in cash, believed to be business transactions, in the car, ready to be credited.
Suspected criminals learned that the victim was carrying a large sum of money, so they followed him and waited for the opportunity, and while the victim was going to the toilet, they attacked the victim's head with a hard object from behind. After taking 100,000 yuan in cash, the gangsters fled quickly, leaving the car key in the car.
Police are investigating the incident and no arrests have been made.
