The head of the Civil Military Administration of the city of Energodar, Zaporozhye Region, Alexander Volga, announced that the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant was moved to work in an emergency, noting that Kyiv forces continue to bombard the city and there are strikes on a thermal power plant close to the nuclear plant.
Volga said: "Strikes on the city are continuing. They mainly bomb public facilities located on the territory of the city, and shells hit the thermal power plant, which is located very close to the Zaporozhye nuclear plant, which is part of it."
He added, "The nuclear power plant has turned into a small emergency as a result of reduced energy production and the fifth reactor is now out of power supply and restructuring is underway and the sixth reactor is operating normally."
