The Arab Cultural Center in Jableh held an art exhibition for a group of young and old participants, students of the artist Hossam Abu Assi, whose works varied in terms of topics, tools and artistic level of paintings.
The exhibition, called Creative with Love, included a hundred paintings for 12 participants, five of whom were young and the rest were women.
The exhibition's supervisor, the plastic artist, Hossam Abu Assi, indicated that the exhibition is the product of his students' work over a whole year, and they work with all techniques of lead, charcoal, wood and oil colors in a distinguished manner.
He pointed out that the differences in the works due to the different ages, but the children excelled in drawing and sculpting for their ages, while adults have learned academically and are on the path of creativity.
Rasha Mahla, a drawing teacher, participated in a group of oil works. She explained that she received an academic education, which added to what she received at the Art Institute and helped her discover larger areas of color and stronger boldness in the use of brush, color, knife drawing, and chamfering.
Majd Muhammad participated in the works of portraits of famous people in literature, thought and art, and made it clear that this was her first experience that she started with her daughters in this course and discovered a hidden talent within her.
The child Shahd Ibrahim expressed her happiness to participate in a number of paintings of certain faces and characters, and that she dreams of becoming a distinguished painter in the future.
Jableh Cultural Director Mayada Hassan explained that the center carries out various activities in literature and art, considering the exhibition a continuation of the role played by the center and an encouragement to those who are in the process of first attempts.
