The Russian government has ordered the opening of two new factories in the country to repair armored vehicles, in the midst of the conflict in Ukraine, according to a decree officially published Monday, September 5 on a specialized site of the Russian authorities.
Factory number 71 and factory number 72 must obtain a state license within four months, according to this decree of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin dated September 2.

Their "
main objective is to repair armored vehicles and automobiles (...) in the interests of defense
", specifies the decree published on the official portal of legal documents of the Russian government.
Russia has been on the offensive in Ukraine since Feb. 24 and has made gains in the east and south of the country.
However, in recent weeks it has faced a Ukrainian counter-offensive, particularly in the south.
