This evening, a demonstration of cinema shows in front of the Citadel of Aleppo, which is held by the Ministry of Culture - the General Organization for Cinema, and includes the screening of films over three days in the open air.
The opening of the performances included the screening of the last Iftar movie, written and directed by Abdel Latif Abdel Hamid, starring Abdel Moneim Amayri and Kinda Hanna, and simulates in its content the pain of loss and longing for the beloved.
The Director of Culture in Aleppo, Jaber Al-Sajour, explained to SANA the importance of the demonstration, as it emphasizes the return of cultural life to the city of Aleppo and the transfer of cinema and all other arts to mass and popular shows aimed at informing the audience in all its segments of what the Cinema Foundation has produced in recent years of purposeful films bearing sublime contents and messages, indicating It is an experiment that began in Aleppo and Latakia, and if it succeeds, it will be transferred in the future to the public squares.
The Assistant Director-General of the General Film Organization, Basem Khabbaz, indicated that the Foundation is holding an outdoor cinema show for the first time in the city of Aleppo over a period of three days, at a rate of one film per day, which is the last breakfast. An ancient city like Aleppo, which witnessed the first cinematic demonstration in a hundred years.
Among the attendees, Anas Kurdi expressed his happiness for holding such a demonstration near the popular lanes, wishing it would continue, not for three days.
Sahar Dahdouh said: It is a beautiful idea, and Sahar Al-Mustafa agreed with her, indicating that it was an enjoyable demonstration that enabled her to attend a new atmosphere.
Director Saleh Al-Salti, in turn, indicated that the demonstration is not new, but it is a wonderful initiative by the Ministry of Culture to hold this event in this popular place so that all social segments can attend and entertain themselves.
