Anticipation prevails in Britain today, after doctors of the 96-year-old Queen Elizabeth II expressed concern about her health, while her family gathered at Balmoral Palace in Scotland, where she is.
Buckingham Palace announced in a statement that after a new assessment this morning, the Queen's doctors expressed their concern about her health and recommended that she remain under medical observation, noting that the Queen is still in Balmoral, which is unusual in such circumstances in Britain.
According to the media, her family was informed of her health condition, especially since the Queen has been suffering since October of last year with health problems that have caused her difficulty in walking and standing.
The British Crown Prince Charles and his wife Camilla arrived in Balmoral, as well as her daughter Anne, while her other two sons, Princes Andrew and Edward, were on their way to Scotland.
In her last public appearance, the Queen officially approved the appointment of Liz Terrace as Prime Minister, becoming the 15th Prime Minister in the 70 years of the Queen's accession to the throne.
The Queen was supposed to return to London, where the hand-over ceremony between the two prime ministers is usually organized, but this was postponed due to her health problems.
