It didn't take them long to come to his bedside.

This Thursday, just hours after the announcement that the Queen of England was placed under the supervision of doctors because of a worrying state of health, her relatives went to Balmoral, the Scottish residence of Elizabeth II.

It was his eldest son and heir to the crown, Prince Charles, who arrived first along with his wife, Camilla, and sister, Princess Anne.

Shortly after, around 6:15 p.m. (French time), the two other children of the queen, princes Andrew and Edward, as well as the wife of the latter, Sophie de Wessex, arrived at the bedside of the sovereign.

His grandson, Prince William - second in line - shared the same plane and therefore passed through the doors of Balmoral at the same time as them.

Meghan and Kate stayed in London

Harry, who lives in the US but was traveling to the UK on Thursday, also quickly made his way to Scotland in the afternoon.

A time announced, Meghan, Harry's wife, has not finally made the trip to Scotland and remains in London for the moment.

But she could join her husband later, says The Guardian.

Kate, William's wife, also stayed in the English capital with the couple's children (George, Charlotte and Louis), who were spending their first full day at school.

For the moment, it has not yet been announced if the other grandchildren of the queen (Peter and Zara Philips, Beatrice and Eugenie of York, Louise and James Mountbatten-Windson) had planned to go to the bedside of their grandmother.
