Demented pensioner gets in the car and disappears overnight

The 80-year-old Reinhard K. is missing.

The police are publicly looking for him.

Since today, Friday, there has been no trace of an 80-year-old from Kirchseeon.

Since the man has dementia, the police hope to find him quickly.

Kirchseeon – 80-year-old Reinhard Krämer disappeared from Kirchseeon overnight.

Since Friday, September 9th, there has been no trace of the demented pensioner.

The police have now decided to launch a search for him and are hoping for help from the public.

80-year-old from Kirchseeon missing: disappeared by car overnight

The press release from the police headquarters in Oberbayern Süd states that the 80-year-old must have left his weekend home in Kirchseeon unnoticed during the night from Thursday to Friday.

He is said to have simply driven away in his car - a Mitsubishi Colt with the registration number EBE-SK-767.

The fact that the pensioner is suffering from dementia is problematic.

The police assume that K. is disoriented and dependent on outside help.

His car was last seen on Friday around 2 p.m. on the Autobahn between Füssen and Kempten, the statement said.

Despite "immediately initiated search measures", the officials could not find the car or the missing person.

It is also possible that the pensioner is staying in places that he still knows from his past.

These include: Eberfing near Weilheim, Rottach-Egern or Taufkirchen.

Police hope for information on the whereabouts of the missing 80-year-old

The missing person is described as follows:

• The 80-year-old is about 1.70 meters tall and has a strong build.

• He has short white hair, a stubbly white beard and wears glasses.

• He is probably wearing his pajamas (blue top and gray trousers) and a gray fleece jacket.

Anyone who has seen the missing person or can provide information about his whereabouts should contact the police in Ebersberg.
