The government team in charge of implementing the integrated electronic management system for government support operations discussed during its meeting today, headed by Prime Minister Hussein Arnous, the reality of implementing decisions related to redirecting support and delivering it to its actual beneficiaries in a manner that ensures optimal and transparent management of available resources.
Engineer Arnous stressed the importance of the continuous development of the support restructuring system in coordination between the Ministry of Communications and Technology and the concerned authorities, and to check the incoming data and numbers before entering them into the system, noting the efforts made and the speed with which objections were addressed and decided upon to ensure the delivery of support to the truly needy segments.
During the meeting, the work done during the last period, which included the development of an interface on the citizen platform, to return individuals whose allocation of food supplies was stopped due to their presence outside the country and the application of its reflection within the family card of a fuel company without the need to review the Department of Immigration and Passports, as well as linking the support platform with the associated platforms, which are The Civil Registry, Hydrocarbons and the Ministry of Transport to work in the future on instant synchronization between the integrated national platform for government support operations and the associated platforms, in addition to developing a new mechanism to update the data of excluded vehicles.
The Minister of Communications and Technology, Eng. Iyad Al-Khatib, also presented the number of objections submitted through the system since its launch, the distribution of ration cards and fuel cards excluded from subsidy to date, and the results of their processing after scrutiny by the authorities concerned with receiving objection requests.
The attendees discussed a number of ideas about excluding some of the able groups from the support system in preparation for the collection of data and digital data that will help in making the appropriate decision regarding them in the future.
