Police officers are pursuing a man who died prior to the arrival of King Charles III.

The man had previously jumped over a barrier near Buckingham Palace and ran across the blocked road.
Several police officers then rushed over and brought the man to the ground.
He was then tied up and taken away.

The scenes initially circulated online as a video, and later Scotland Yard officially confirmed the incident to the German Press Agency.
It was initially unclear why the man jumped over the barrier.
As Scotland Yard further announced, the man remains in custody for the time being.
Only on Friday evening did Charles III.
stopped at The Mall to speak to people gathered outside the cordon following the death of his mother on Thursday.
