Several masked and armed individuals robbed the workshop of a subcontractor of the leather goods manufacturer Louis Vuitton in Monthou-sur-Cher (Loir-et-Cher) overnight from Wednesday to Thursday, stealing around 300 luxury bags, announced Saturday, September 10 the public prosecutor of Blois.
The value of the damage represents 120,000 euros in material terms, but the value of the loot has been estimated at "
several hundred thousand euros for resale

According to the prosecution, the burglars threatened and overpowered the guard before forcing a safe in the workshop with a grinder.
The operation lasted about ten minutes.
The goalkeeper "
was not physically injured
," the magistrate told AFP.
The investigation was entrusted to the Orleans research section and the Central Office for the Fight against Itinerant Delinquency (OCLDI).
