The Russian Defense Ministry announced that it had decided to regroup forces stationed in Plaklya and Izyum in the Kharkov region of northeastern Ukraine to reinforce the Donetsk front.
“To achieve the goals of the special military operation to liberate Donbass, it was decided to regroup the Russian forces stationed in the Plaklya and Izyum regions to strengthen the Donetsk Front,” the RIA Novosti news agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement today, adding that “the enemy was circumvented to determine the main tasks of the forces.”
"More than 2,000 Ukrainian and foreign fighters were eliminated and more than 100 tanks, vehicles and artillery positions were destroyed within three days," the ministry said.
