Two tourist groups from European countries in addition to China visited the city of Bosra al-Sham in the countryside of Daraa today in order to enjoy the beauty of its ancient monuments, especially its amphitheater.
Tourist guide Rami Nawiya said in a statement to SANA reporter that a group of 14 tourists from Lithuania went to the city of Bosra to see its tourist attractions and antiquities, expressing his hope that Bosra would return to the tourism map.
In turn, the tour guide Bashar Grikos indicated that another tourist group from European countries that includes (Netherlands, Germany, Britain, France, Italy and Spain) expressed their happiness when they saw the monuments of Bosra, its historical amphitheater, and the various monuments and techniques used in designing the theater.
Director of Tourism Yasser Al-Saadi explained that the city of Bosra is witnessing several visits after the lifting of quarantine procedures against the background of the Corona pandemic, noting that the Tourism Directorate is taking measures to promote tourism to archaeological sites in the governorate, in a way that restores glamor to them.
