A four-year-old tore himself from his aunt's hand in Geisenfeld (Upper Bavaria) and ran into the street.
He was hit by a car.
Geisenfeld - A serious accident occurred in Geisenfeld (district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm) on Sunday, September 11th.
This is reported by the local police.

Accordingly, the accident happened on Munich Street.
"A four-year-old from Geisenfeld wanted to cross the road with his aunt when he suddenly tore himself away from his aunt's hand and ran across the street," police said.
The boy was hit by the vehicle of a 25-year-old who was just driving down Munich Street.
"The child was thrown into the air as a result of the impact and fell to the ground," the police said.
The boy was immediately taken to a hospital after first aid on site by the emergency doctor and rescue service.
The public prosecutor called in an expert to clarify the exact course of the accident.

Boy injured in an accident in Upper Bavaria - driver unharmed
"Fortunately, as it later turned out, the boy's injuries may not be as serious as originally thought," the officials continued.
The driver of the Audi was not injured, but the car sustained minor damage.
The accident was recorded by the Geisenfeld police, the extent to which third-party fault is present is the subject of the investigation.
