The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, confirmed this Tuesday that a federal judge decided to grant the benefit of house arrest to Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, former leader of the extinct Guadalajara cartel and known as the "boss of bosses."
Félix Gallardo is currently serving a 37-year prison sentence in a federal prison in Jalisco for the murder of DEA agent Enrique Camarena in 1985.
