It is now the criminal center of Senlis which has taken the lead in the case of the young high school student from Méru, who was the victim of a kidnapping and various abuses last Friday, while he was leaving the Truffaut high school in Beauvais.
The young boy, victim despite himself of a conflict between young people from Beauvais and Méru, had been kidnapped and beaten up for several hours, before being released by the intervention of third parties.
A kidnapping that earned him a fracture of the orbital floor and twelve days of total incapacity for work.
Investigations by the police led to the arrest and custody of three minors, aged 16 to 17, on September 13.
The following day, a fourth defendant, aged 20, presented himself to the police and was also taken into custody.
For some already known to justice, the respondents disputed their involvement in this brutal attack.
Violence aggravated by the use of a knife
“They were referred to the criminal center of Senlis this afternoon as part of an opening of judicial investigation for kidnapping and kidnapping committed in an organized gang, intentional violence resulting in total incapacity for work for more than eight days aggravated by two circumstances ( in a meeting and with the use or threat of a weapon, in this case a knife)”, specifies the public prosecutor in Senlis, Loïc Abrial.
The investigations carried out by the investigating judge will make it possible to clarify the reasons for this surge of violence.
While the prosecution has requested the provisional detention of the four suspects, it is the judge of freedoms and detention who must rule this Thursday evening on their fate.
The penalty provided for by the Penal Code for the crime of kidnapping and forcible confinement committed in an organized gang is 30 years' imprisonment.
