Then he asked what about some 'romantic night talk' but we didn't have time to talk."

Earlier today, the security forces, including the Nahal patrol, MGB and Engineering, operated in Kfar Dan from where the terrorists who killed the late Major Falah left.

During the activity, they mapped the houses from which the terrorists left.

The forces encountered fire against them, reacted and a hit was detected.

Maj. Gen. Spad: "I salute you on your last journey"

Yesterday evening thousands of relatives and family members came to the military cemetery in Netanya to accompany Bar on his last journey.

He left behind 5 brothers and sisters, a mother and a partner.

His father died a few years ago.

Bar's partner, Ariel Savag, mourned in tears: "My man, my Haim, you entered my soul. You are the best person I have ever known in my life. You called me last night and told me to keep my smell on your pillow. You told me not to worry and that everything would be fine You said, 'Nothing will happen to me. My beautiful, who can do anything to me?', my biggest nightmare happened. You were everything to me and I will never forget you, I promise you."

Commander of the Nahal Patrol, Lt. Col. Yonatan Tzur: "Falakh, my right hand, friend, brother, commander and warrior. That's how you were and that's how you fell. You wanted to join the Nahal Patrol, because 'that's where the real army is,' you said.

You charged bravely against terrorists.

Even when the shot pierced your body you returned fire.

You fell as a hero of Israel.

Dalia, you lost a son.

The members of the Pelah family, you are part of the Nahal patrol family forever, be proud of the bar. Pelah, I salute you on your last journey."

The fatal encounter - and the question marks

The incident in which the late Bar was killed began when IDF surveillance identified two suspects in the area of the Seam fence near the village of Jalma, in the area of the Menashe regional division.

The IDF forces that were rushed to the point, including the commander of the Nahal patrol, Major Falah, surrounded the terrorists and started a suspect arrest procedure, during which they fired at the fighters. , who were armed with a Carlo-type rifle and another improvised rifle, and killed them.

As a result of the exchange of fire, Major Falah was killed.

In the meantime, the IDF has begun an investigation into the case, and at the center of it will be the minute in which it was decided that the late Pelah would approach the two terrorists, without knowing that they were armed until the moment they opened fire.

Another troubling issue that will be examined is the issue of the instructions to open fire - and the question of whether the way the forces acted, which endangered them, was the right one.

In recent times there has been quite a bit of criticism on the issue of the opening fire instructions given to the soldiers - and the explicit instruction of the commanders in the field to try and reduce as much as possible the number of Palestinian deaths, which has been more than 80 since the beginning of the year.
