Buckingham Palace Garden was the site of Queen Elizabeth II's annual garden parties. Understandable as she was a big fan of flowers.
But who could resist the magic of a garden like this palace garden, which boasts over 1000 trees and 320 different species of wildflowers and herbs?
Some of these were even planted in the 16th and 17th centuries.
But the royal Regent's Park also presents itself with extraordinarily beautiful plants, for example in Queen Mary's Rose Gardens with 12,000 rose bushes.
This photo gallery gives an insight into the magnificent floral world of the royal gardens.
