The Permanent Representative of Russia to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, described the statement of the International Atomic Energy Agency on the Zaporozhye nuclear plant as “political and promotional.”
Sputnik news agency quoted Ulyanov as saying today that “this statement has no practical effect, has a political and propaganda nature, and contains errors about facts and distortions, so its value reaches zero or even negative.”
Ulyanov pointed out that "the agency was unable to cite any examples of any aggressive action by Russia at the station."
The Permanent Mission of Russia to international organizations in Vienna confirmed yesterday that the anti-Russian IAEA resolution on Ukraine deliberately blinded itself and did not mention a single word about the systematic bombing of the nuclear power plant in Zaporozhye by Ukrainian forces.
