In the midst of a large presence of the people of the city of Jableh and on the ruins of its archaeological amphitheater, the Hanin and Helm choir starred in its performance of the works of the artist Ziad Rahbani, in addition to a number of contemporary songs.
And the band began its performance in the show, which takes place on the occasion of Tourism Day, with songs (Who said you fight, and it is the soul, and tomorrow is a day, I will tell you this news, and no one asks about me, and tomorrow is better).
The band performed a group of well-known songs, with which the audience interacted with participation and applause, such as the song “You will not miss you on the day of the badge of the series Dayaa Dayaa and I don’t have a job in the market” by the artist Ilham Al-Madfai and various clips between contemporary and popular from Dalouna and Al-Mijna.
Dr. Noha Bashour, founder and director of the Hanin and Helm choir troupe, explained that the performances that are presented today by the artist Ziad Rahbani are due to the importance of this artist and his Rahbani family and the nobility of what they presented to art, pointing to the intersection of Syrian and Lebanese art, as they are from one historical and civilized source.
Bashour pointed to the necessity of presenting targeted artistic performances on our archaeological sites in these days that we are living in from the end of the terrorist war on our country, stressing the role of culture and art in the reconstruction and building of spirit, thought and man.
