Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stressed that his country will stand against any attempt by the West to exclude Russia from the UN Security Council.
"Serbia will vote against any attempt by the West to limit the veto or exclude the Russian Federation from the Security Council," Vucic was quoted by the Sputnik news agency as saying, adding, "We have no problem with that."
The Russian Foreign Ministry had announced earlier that Western countries' attempts to withdraw Russia's powers and expel its representatives from the United Nations are futile and will not work.
