At about 10 am today (8th), a 5-year-old girl in a tenement building at No. 66 Shek Pai Wan Road, Aberdeen, found her mother fainted in the house. She then called her father who was in the mainland via WeChat and sent a call to her. With the help of his father, he called the police.
Ambulancemen arrived at the scene and confirmed that the 47-year-old female victim surnamed Wu had died on the spot, and her body was transferred to the mortuary by a worker. The cause of death was to be determined by an autopsy.
The case was classified as "corpse found", and the girl was sent to Queen Mary Hospital for examination.
The worker removed the body.
