Jürgen Drews announced his career end in July 2022.

Now he gave his last concert in Ellmau.

There he also brought his wife Ramona onto the stage.

Ellmau – Schlager star Jürgen Drews (77) announced his career on July 9, 2022 in Florian Silbereisen’s “Big Schlagerstrandparty”.

The "Bett im Kornfeld" interpreter suffers from polyneuropathy, an incurable nervous disease that limits the range of motion in his legs.

Since then he has had performances that have been speculated: will it be his last?

Now Drews gave his official last performance, in which he also brought his wife Ramona (49) on stage.

One of the most successful German pop singers of all time made his last live appearance at the Musikherbst am Wilden Kaiser.

"It's something very special for me to be able to play my last live concert in Ellmau.

He thanked his wife Ramona Drews, who is his greatest support – they have been married for 31 years and have daughter Joelina Drews (27), who is also a singer.

Regarding his wife, the musician said: "We've been married for 31 years, I'm a loyal sock, I can't help it" and then brought her onto the stage.

Jürgen Drews concluded his performance with the words: "I am very grateful to fate.
