Russian Deputy Prime Minister Murat Hasanulin announced the resumption of the movement of freight and passenger trains across the Crimean Bridge in full, and the movement of cars in part.
"Traffic has fully resumed on the railway line, and we will allow all scheduled trains, whether for passengers or freight, to pass through, and we have the technical capabilities for that," RIA Novosti news agency quoted Hasanulin as saying in a statement to reporters.
In turn, the Russian Ministry of Transport announced that car traffic can resume on the Crimean bridge on one line and in two directions, and the President of the Republic of Crimea, Sergey Aksenov, announced the resumption of the movement of cars and trains across the bridge with a limited capacity until the completion of its restoration.
For its part, the Railway Authority of the Republic of Crimea announced the crossing of the first train of 15 vehicles on the Crimean Bridge railway after the resumption of traffic on it.
The Crimean Bridge was subjected to a terrorist bombing at dawn today, with a truck bomb, which led to the disruption of a lane to cross it, and the burning of a fuel train, and the death of 3 people who were in a car near the truck when it exploded.
