Police received a report from a man in Wah Fung Building, 13 Jordan Road, Yau Ma Tei, at about 6 pm today (10th) that a baby was unconscious.

The ambulance arrived and found that the so-called baby boy in the house was actually an aborted fetus. The fetus had no signs of life at that time, so the dead fetus and its Indian biological mother were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a man who claimed to be from Africa inside the house.

He claimed to be in possession of "street paper", but failed to produce the relevant supporting documents, so the police took him back to the police station for investigation.

After the fetus was wrapped in white cloth and sent to the hospital, several police officers went to the hospital to investigate the cause of the incident.

It is reported that the Indian woman involved, who was 23 weeks pregnant, suddenly felt abdominal pain today, and then gave birth to a stillbirth.

After preliminary examination by doctors, it is believed that the incident was a spontaneous abortion and no criminal element was involved.

The police also sent officers to the unit involved to investigate and found a man who claimed to be from Africa inside the house.

Because he failed to produce valid identification documents, the police took him back to the police station to investigate his identity and relationship with the Indian woman.
