Paintings of different sizes made with collage technique, hosted by the National Center for Visual Arts this evening, within the exhibition of the young plastic artist Alia Al-Nahwi.
The exhibition included a group of small paintings made with the technique of collage and adopted the style of abstraction and expression.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for the Arts, Dr. Ghiath Al-Akhras, confirmed in a statement to SANA that the young artist, who graduated from the College of Fine Arts and specialized within the National Center for Visual Arts, benefited from the space for dialogue and freedom provided by the center to develop her talent.
He pointed out that the paintings were distinguished by their spontaneous compositions and the materials that she used to present her various ideas, indicating that Al-Nahwi was unique in its non-repetitive themes and innovation at the level of the idea.
The artist Al-Nahwi explained that she relied in her exhibition on the technique of collage, by employing different components such as dried roses to compose the painting and the introduction of honey and red colors on her paintings.
