The Secretary General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, is speaking this evening (Tuesday) on the Al-Maydin network, referring to the gas agreement with Israel.
"We are facing crucial times," he said.
"I am not the one who should come out and say that Lebanon has decided on one or another wording, but our president is the relevant decision-making body and we are waiting for the official position from our president, and also waiting for an official position from the Israeli government.
"As for us - we are waiting for the official positions, and moreover I tell you, when the delegations go to sign after there is an agreement on signing the agreement, only then can we say that there is an agreement."
He later said that "the negotiations in recent days have been difficult, and when the Lebanese president announces his position supporting the agreement, the opposition will see it as a completed matter.
"I call on the fighters of the resistance (Hezbollah D.B. organization) to maintain vigilance until it seems that everything is closed. The enemy is more afraid of war than the resistance."
