The artist “Assaad Fadda” visited the students of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts today, as part of the “Creativity Forum” event that is held at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus, where the first class graduated from him, and one of its classes bore his name.
The forum began with a panoramic video that reviewed the most important works of “Fidda” since its beginnings, and the most famous stations that affected his theatrical, dramatic and cinematic career. An opportunity for students to benefit from the experiences of Syrian creators.
Asaad Fadda, who played all the roles of the artist. Each of them will have his own artistic project during his study years and after graduation, and it will be in the context of the national cultural project.
The forum included questions for the students of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, in which he answered the questions that revolve in their head, offering his advice to them.
The dialogue ended with honoring the artist Fadda with the institute's shield and a memorial photo that gathered the students of the institute with the able teacher.
The Dean of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, Dr. Thamer Al-Arbeed, pointed out that the institute is launching the new academic year, and that the forum comes within its plan of action to raise the academic level, and the performance of students in all departments, hosting the great artist Asaad Fadda, one of the pillars of this institute, which he contributed to establishing, in addition to being a director and actor. Theatrically, he has a long experience in artistic work.
He added: "The Creativity Forum is continuing its goal of providing an artistic body for students to talk about its experience and dialogue with them in all transparency, which achieves a great goal of the institute by highlighting the experiences of pioneers and innovators, which provide lessons for future artists and deep answers based on a rich artistic journey and experience."
He explained that the Creativity Forum is one of several events launched by the Institute, such as presentations from memory and the Cinema Club, where the Institute seeks to open its doors to the experiences of its students and graduates, in addition to the Open Doors event, which is an annual tradition that it launches at the beginning of the academic year.
