In Mexico City, there is a controversy about a monument in the ex-glorieta de Colón that would be located in one of the largest avenues of the country's capital.

While indigenous women's groups are calling for the installation of a female sculpture known as La mujer de Amajac, feminist groups are calling for the monument and public space that they called the women who fight to be maintained.
