Rumors are swirling in the ruins of Izioum.
In the shadow of a building that is about to collapse, a man tells the gossip:
“Natalia* worked with a Russian humanitarian organization…Bogdan* took pictures with the Russians…Volodymyr* continued to be a postman under occupation…”
Where are they all now?
The man says he doesn't know.
The collaborators most often disappeared as soon as Izioum was liberated: on the run with the Russian masters or imprisoned by the Ukrainian authorities.
“I only know that Volodymyr the postman was interrogated by the SBU
(Ukrainian intelligence services, editor's note),
but that he was released.
He must be back."
Scraps of evidence, Izioum speaks as the Russians tore it up: in pieces.
Only those with money could afford not to deal with the Russians...
