Summer is over, autumn is here and many people are trying to create an atmosphere suitable for the season in their private home.

Whether that means creating a snuggle corner or whether it means making a big pot of soup.

But one woman shared a trick that will help you create a perfect fall atmosphere at home and all you need for that is a few pine cones from the tree.

Jill uploaded a video where she shows how she collected some pine cones, put them in a baking dish and baked them for an hour at 175 degrees.

While "baking" the pine cones, she mixed together half a cup of distilled water with 45 drops of cinnamon oil.

After it's ready, Jill recommended putting the pine cones in a sack or small bag and then covering them with the mixture of water and cinnamon oil.

To achieve a perfect effect, it is advisable to leave this bag all night to allow the pine cones to absorb the solution.

Then add a little more of the solution on top and then she explained: "The next day, just store the pine cones in a designed container. It couldn't be easier."

Beyond the good smell they make, the pine cones are a beautiful decoration for the home and you can put them in a bigger bowl and put them in the center of the living room or at the entrance to the house for a perfect autumn atmosphere.
