In the middle of Munich: Young woman (18) races away from the police on a moped – and crashes into a patrol

An 18-year-old woman from Munich was in a chase with the police.

A Freisinger (19) sat on her moped.

He's in big trouble now too.

Freising/Munich

- A 19-year-old man from the Freising district got caught up in a chase with the police on Wednesday in Munich.

He was a pillion passenger on the moped of an 18-year-old woman from Munich who was stopped by the police shortly before midnight.

The moped belongs to the Freisinger.

According to the Munich police, a patrol wanted to stop the 18-year-old at the wheel of the moped on Ludwigstrasse to check her.

The young woman then accelerated to avoid being checked.

The police officers followed her and witnessed how the 18-year-old made several illegal, dangerous driving maneuvers.

On Türkenstrasse, she drove against the direction of travel and finally crashed into an oncoming police vehicle.

The impact caused the scooter to fall with the two people on it.

The 18-year-old and the 19-year-old from Freising were slightly injured but did not require medical treatment on site.

During the check, the officers found that the young woman did not have the required driver's license for the moped.

An investigation was initiated against her, among other things, because of endangering road traffic and driving without a license.

A preliminary investigation into the authorization to drive without a license was initiated against the 19-year-old vehicle owner.

There was minor damage to the scooter and the service vehicle.
