MTR Nanchang Station has become a place for young people to challenge extreme sports Parkour (Flying Road). On August 14 this year, two clips of 7 seconds and 9 seconds respectively were uploaded on the social networking site instagram, showing him in Nanchang Station next to an escalator ladder The stage slid down, and one of the clips attracted more than 2,600 likes.

In the middle of the film, people disapproved of the "ladder", and the victim, Guan Yongtai, responded to the inquiries of "Hong Kong 01" and said: "These movements are as natural to me as other people's walking."

The two videos were shot from two different angles. One of the clips was only 7 seconds long, and the young man went from the top of the escalator about two or three stories high to the ground.

Another clip shows that the young man first started to run, then jumped onto the inclined platform next to the escalator, fell to the ground like a slide, and jumped to the ground at the end of the platform to leave.

The MTR responded that it was unclear about the source and shooting time of the video, and the station had not received any reports on the situation, and had called the police about the behavior in the video.

Bylaw 28B of the MTR Bylaws states that no person shall climb, climb or jump on, jump over any wall, fence, barrier, turnstile or post within any part of the railway premises.

MTR urges passengers to take care of themselves and others, and to protect themselves and others, refrain from behaviors that are dangerous and nuisance to other passengers.

MTR staff will advise, warn or report to the police if they find any relevant behavior.

If passengers notice relevant situations, they can immediately notify station staff for follow-up.

In the film, Guan Yongtai, a young man who challenges the escalator, has been participating in Parkour for 16 years since 2006, and is a veteran of Feiyue Road.

"Hong Kong 01" contacted Guan Yongtai. He said he respected the MTR's police operation and understood the concerns of the outside world, but bluntly said, "These actions are as natural to me as other people's walking, and I don't think it will have any effect on me. Dangerous.” As for whether he is worried that others will “follow the same example”, he does not believe that he can change the actions of others, and also points out that participating in Feiyue Dao requires individuals to have sufficient knowledge of their own abilities, and it is not easy to “follow the example”.

He also believes that the lives of Hong Kong citizens are too protected, their thinking is backward and conservative, and then they despise people who are different from the public's daily life.
