A "titanic" clash of two stars was captured by the Hubble telescope

Using NASA's Hubble Space Telescope, astronomers have made a unique measurement.

It indicates that a jet of radiation, streaking through space at speeds greater than 99.97% of the speed of light, was propelled by the titanic collision between two neutron stars.
