Oktoberfest 2022: Tent builder discovers valuable find
"Bodo's" presented the precious find in a Facebook post: A golden wedding ring came to light during the dismantling work in the Oktoberfest tent.
The ring's inscription revealed that its wearer had been married just a month before losing the ring.
"You can't think of something like that," comments "Bodo's" on the evidence photos.
According to the engraving, the newlywed wife is called "Angelika" - it is questionable whether she was so enthusiastic about the loss of her husband's wedding ring.
"Bodo's" continues: "Feel free to get in touch if you want the ring back – but you definitely have to explain to us how you brought home – be prepared for it."
"A lukewarm apple spritzer" - the tent builder is looking forward to a finder's reward
And the proud finder would also like to be rewarded: "Our tent builder Ben will certainly be happy about a lukewarm apple spritzer," says the catering company.
It was not initially known whether the owner of the ring had contacted him in the meantime.
However, the husband without a ring was by no means the only one who left his belongings on the Theresienwiese: the Oktoberfest lost and found office counted more than 1045 lost property at the end.
An expensive "Wheely-Rider" could also be returned to its owners after a call from the Munich police.
