The holiday season is coming to an end when the weather was mostly comfortable for the celebrants and travelers alike.

On Simchat Torah - the eighth gathering, when we begin to bless the rains, we are expected to get our first taste of the Israeli winter.

Today (Saturday) in the evening and night will be partly cloudy.

In the early morning there may be local rains mainly along the coastal plain. 

Tomorrow (Sunday) - on the eve of the holiday, it will continue to be partly cloudy, a slight increase in temperatures will be felt and it will be warmer than usual for the season.

Local rain is possible during the day.

On Monday, the clouds will thicken a little and a slight drop in temperatures will be felt.

During the afternoon there may be local rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, in the interior areas of the country, and there is a slight fear of floods in the Judean Desert and the Jordan Valley.

On Tuesday there may be another drop in temperatures and they will be normal for the season.

Meanwhile, today (Saturday) a record number of travelers was recorded - 380,000 people, according to the Nature and Parks Authority.

The data also shows that approximately 8,000 people spend the night in the Authority's parking lots.

Among the prominent sites: the Caesarea National Park with about 5000 visitors, the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve with about 4500 visitors, the Yarkon Tel Afek National Park with about 3800 visitors, the Masada National Park with about 3500 visitors and the Banias Nature Reserve with about 2000 visitors .

The Nature and Parks Authority is prepared to receive the many visitors who will visit the nature reserves and national parks on the eve of the holiday and Simchat Torah.
