The incident comes about five months after the massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde in May, in which 19 students and two teachers were killed.
The police response to the shooting came under fierce scrutiny after it was revealed that it took 1 hour, 14 minutes and 8 seconds from when law enforcement entered the building until the gunman was killed.
Almost 400 agents went to the scene of the massacre.
The school district's police department was suspended earlier this month following scrutiny over its response to the shooting.
