Oktoberfest host Peter Reichert will probably be fined.
Can he go to the Oktoberfest again next year?
Munich – It was the first year as host at the Oktoberfest for the new Bräurosl boss Peter Reichert and there was a lot of trouble right away.
First there were complaints about the brass band Josef Menz, which only played traditional Bavarian brass music instead of party hits.
That probably didn't appeal to many of the younger visitors, who probably only know Wiesn as a place to celebrate.
That is why the chapel was replaced in the evening hours.
Numerous scandals surrounding Bräurosl host Reichert in his first year at the Oktoberfest
But that's just the beginning.
The innkeeper was also said to have been involved in a physical altercation at his marquee.
And according to information from the
tz
, the inspectors are said to have found violations regarding the storage of food and its further processing.
Criminal proceedings were then initiated.
This obviously has consequences for Reichert.
As the

reports, the city of Munich, as the organizer of the Wiesn, is said to have initiated a contractual penalty for the Bräurosl host because he violated sensitive contractual conditions.
The city council still has to vote on the amount.
According to the picture
, it is not yet clear who will pay the fine in the end, himself or the “Paulaner Brewery Group”
.
Oktoberfest 2023: Bräurosl host Reichert will be there again next year?
However, the contractual penalty could have consequences for the application for Oktoberfest 2023.
After all, it is unlikely that the brewery will propose him again as the city's innkeeper.
But if you do it, the district administration department (KVR) would have to confirm the reliability according to information from the sheet.
