The police arrested today (Thursday) a suspect in a murder that happened in Dimona about a month ago.
According to the suspicion, a 49-year-old resident of the city stabbed a man to death in the square of a synagogue on the street of the exit of Europe in the southern city.
The suspect's detention was extended from time to time and today the prosecution's statement was submitted against him regarding its intention to file an indictment against him.
Corporal Nadav Teichman, head of the Negev District Court's interrogation department: "This is a serious case in which, according to the suspicion, there was an ongoing dispute between neighbors that was not known to the police, and which came up while carrying out the investigation operations to understand the occurrence and the background, ended in the unfortunate event. We acted while striving to investigate the truth and reach justice against the suspect".
