The Lebanese presidency affirmed that Lebanon has not made any concessions on the issue of the maritime borders with occupied Palestine, and what is promoting the opposite is pure lies and slander.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the Presidency as saying in a statement, in response to articles and reports dealing with border demarcation: “The Presidency of the Republic confirms that what has been achieved in terms of demarcating the southern maritime borders is the result of a Lebanese decision that reflects the unity of the national position, and the outcome of difficult and difficult negotiations led by the Lebanese team. The negotiator with the American mediator was tactful, firm and persistent, in defense of the rights of the Lebanese state in its water, oil and gas wealth,” reiterating that Lebanon did not make any concessions during the negotiations and did not submit to any bargains, bargains, deals or the wills of foreign countries, but on the contrary, many countries The sister and friend supported the Lebanese position, and put its capabilities at his disposal.
The presidency added: “Everything that promotes the opposite is pure slander, analyzes and articles that do not correspond to reality, and are shameful that they are issued by parties that are supposed to stand by their state and its officials, because the issue of demarcation is an achievement at the level of the country and for the sake of its children, not for the sake of a person or entity. Or a foreign party or country,” expressing her hope that this persistent approach to offending the dignity and sovereignty of the country will stop, by claiming that the demarcation negotiations resulted in the result of an external decision by one or more countries, while in fact it is the outcome of a solid national decision that is not partner in it.
