The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the dismantling of a network of smuggling weapons and military ammunition in the province of Gilan in the north of the country, whose members were intending to carry out sabotage operations and destabilize security and stability throughout the province.
Fars news agency quoted the Guards as saying in a statement today: "The Iranian people were able to dismantle this network in complex operations and arrested its members who were from western provinces who infiltrated into Gilan province," noting that members of this network were planning to use these weapons in Riots.
On the 27th of last month, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the arrest of two cells containing 12 rioters and saboteurs in the province of Gilan in the north of the country.
