A New York City man was arrested Friday after allegedly stabbing to death a man who confronted him about his bad manners, police said.
On September 20, around 11:30 pm, Joan Nunez, 37, opened the door of a
smoke shop
in Gowanus, Brooklyn, as a courtesy gesture to let in Edwin Pedroza, 42.
When Pedroza
walked in without thanking him, he was confronted by Núñez
, leading to a verbal dispute.
The video shared by the New York police appears to show Núñez (dressed in white) and Pedroza in the middle of a fight inside the store.
At one point, Pedroza appears to push Nunez against the wall, who raises his hands in the air.

The two leave the premises as the fight escalates, and Pedroza allegedly stabs Nunez with a knife in the abdomen and neck.
He then fled the scene on an electric bicycle.
Nunez was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
Pedroza was arrested Friday morning in Brooklyn and charged with involuntary manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
