Following the choice of the broadcaster Shirah Imber and the photographer Ronen Akerman to end their lives due to a serious illness, the topic of euthanasia and the interpretation of the law on the patient who tends to die was once again flooded in the Israeli public.
I met Mihara Imber, a descendant of the Naftali Hertz Imber family, the author of the national anthem "Hatikva", back in the 80s of the last century when I was broadcasting on Kol Israel, which was located in the palace of the Ethiopian princess on Heleni Hamalka Street in Jerusalem.
