The Theater of the Cultural Center in Aziziyah hosted a poetry evening entitled “The Flowers of Tishreen”, organized by the Aleppo Culture Directorate and the Friends of the Arabic Language Association, with the participation of a group of young poets.
The evening included a group of patriotic, sentimental and lyrical poems from prose texts and vertical poems, through which the participants expressed their feelings and thoughts in different literary methods.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the director of the Aziziyah Cultural Center, Jihad Al-Ghanima, explained the importance of making room for young poets and attracting them through the activities and programs of the Ministry of Culture in developing the skills of the youth group, encouraging their literary experiences and placing them in the right framework.
The Vice-President of the Friends of the Arabic Language Association, poet and critic Ibrahim Kassar, spoke about the importance of this literary activity, which carries human and aesthetic values that poets included in their literary productions, through the artistic images and meanings they symbolized in their poems.
The young poet Majd Hboub participated in two vertical poems and a prose poem that falls within the sentimental poems, in which he expressed the innermost parts of the human soul, its thoughts and wishes, indicating that he tends to the sentimental style in his poems in general.
The young poet Ali Al-Sari presented two sentimental poems in prose style, the first entitled “A yearning on the cradle of madness” and the second, entitled Night admonishing its star, talking about the feelings of young people in their twenties, and the first love and its impact on the heart in a realistic style and realistic projections, pointing out that he tries in his poems to meet the prevailing taste of a generation Young people to talk about their feelings and emotions.
The young poet Muhammad Amer recited 3 poems of vertical poetry, which varied between sentimental and lyrical, embodied the relationship of poetry to man, pointing to the importance of this opportunity that was given to him to present his poetic production within an important and ancient cultural platform.
The poems of the young poet Ruqayya Naddaf talked about the homeland, especially on the occasion of the anniversary of the October Liberation War, because of its importance to the Syrians, pointing out the importance of the concerned cultural authorities seeking to provide an incubating environment for new talents, which gives the impetus to present more youth cultural projects.
