The 20th Musical Culture Festival, which was held by the Artists Syndicate in Homs, concluded with a rap concert by the Doha Mimas Club Band, in the presence and interaction of the audience.
The artist, Tammam Al-Awani, head of the Mimas club, said that the festival is an artistic and cultural space for Homs artists and its fans, pointing out that today's concert includes a new group of young men and women, as the club is trying to attract them to inject new blood and talents alongside its members.
Al-Awani pointed to the role of the Artists Syndicate in Homs in maintaining and developing festivals and events, which contributes to spreading cultural awareness in the governorate.
Amin Roumieh, head of the branch of the Artists Syndicate in Homs, explained that the festival included five artistic and musical concerts, during which new musicians and singers appeared, possessing promising artistic talents and energies.
The closing ceremony of the festival began with honoring the family of the late lyric poet Issam Junaid, presenting the festival shield to them, and showing a short film that dealt with the poet's life and his works that he presented to great Arab artists.
The ceremony was attended by the artist Hadi Parsley, Vice President of the Syndicate of Artists in Syria and members of the Syndicate Council.
