The operator "Royal Caribbean" compares the ship to a gigantic, floating luxury beach resort, which will feature a waterfall, a huge water park and a small Central Park modeled on the one in New York.

The "icon" is said to have 20 decks, construction of which began in mid-2021 and will embark on its maiden voyage in January 2024.
