Who's who at Benidorm Fest 2023

Former representatives of Spain in Eurovision, contestants of

, stars of the social networks, some repeaters of last year and a good number of emerging artists make up the final selection of RTVE for the Benidorm Fest.

The 18 participants will compete in 2023 to attend the European Song Festival held in Liverpool next May.

Below we review the profiles of the participants who are part of the poster of the Alicante event, selected from 876 proposals that have reached the public channel this year.

This quartet forms a new Spanish girl band, but they abandon the pop tradition of this type of formation to approach urban sounds, with elements of rap and reggaeton.

This female trap singer, born in Gandía 28 years ago as Miriam Nares, became known as a participant in

Secreto del agua

was the first song recorded in her career by this 33-year-old artist born in Elche, trained in the field of Fine Arts and with experience in theatrical scenery.

It was the soundtrack of the documentary series

of RTVE Play and the song with which she became one of the favorites of last year's Benidorm Fest.

She is the only candidate who repeats in 2023.

This 26-year-old Spanish-German singer has already shared a microphone with youth idols such as Abraham Mateo in the recent song

Javi, Loren and Jonathan met in 2018 at a music academy, connected and came together to form their own band.
