The Anti-Narcotics Branch in Homs arrested a drug dealer and confiscated 13,000 Captagon pills in his possession, in addition to a hand grenade.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of that, based on the information received by the Anti-Narcotics Branch in Homs about the presence of a person who trades and promotes the narcotic Captagon pills, and through follow-up and monitoring, he was arrested in a tight ambush on the Homs and Tartous highways. drug trade.
The ministry indicated that a quantity of thirteen thousand narcotic Captagon pills was confiscated, and that the arrested person, during his arrest, pointed a bomb at the patrol members and tried to throw it, so the elements managed to get rid of the bomb, arrest him and impound his smuggled motorcycle.
The ministry indicated that the arrestee, along with the confiscations, was brought to the branch center and, during interrogation, he confessed to possessing, trading and transporting narcotic pills, and that investigations are still ongoing to identify all those involved in this case to take the necessary action against them, and the arrestee will be presented to the competent judiciary.
